How it All Began
It was a simple observation but a very frustrating one.
The people around us - students, entrepreneurs, families - were taking big decisions regarding their finances while not fully comprehending them. Not because they were not interested, but because the material they had access to was either too complicated, too verbose, or simply not in their language.
No one was making finance easy for Gujarat.
So, we did.
We started with Gujarat - producing financial education material based on Gujarat-based schemes and knowledge which the Gujarati user could understand. But we did not stop here.
All content is also available in English - meaning that everyone from anywhere has access to the same level of comprehension. We began with Gujarat. But there are no limits to financial literacy.
Our app was developed with both the Gujarati user who needs help understanding the scheme, and the non-Gujarati individual who simply needs financial education in mind.
Vision
Our vision at Chamkaro is to develop a user-friendly financial literacy program that is accessible to everyone. Everyone, no matter who they are, what job they do, or where they come from, should have the ability to understand their finances and make smart decisions.
Mission
Our mission is to become India's most credible financial literacy portal. In order to accomplish this mission, we provide users with short and easy-to-understand financial information in both Gujarati and English languages, aided by smart features such as EMI calculator, loan calculator, and subsidy calculator, which allow all users to take charge of their financial literacy through each update.
